Our focus is on both providing value-added advisory services to our clients and originating proprietary private equity opportunities in the power and alternative energy markets. Our dual focus serves to meet the corporate goals of our advisory clients and the investment objectives of our investor partners. We are an active participant in achieving the goals of our advisory clients, and in many instances, seek a principal role and interest thereby strengthening the alignment with our clients.
The opportunities with which we become involved encompass the full spectrum from development stage to fully operational. Our advisory clients include corporations, project developers and technology owners. Pario Capital's principals have established themselves as trusted financial, strategic and business development advisors.
Our senior principals are veteran investment bankers with decades of experience in power and alternative energy finance and M&A. They initially worked together over 20 years ago in the Utility and Project Finance Group of Merrill Lynch and have subsequent experience at firms including NewCourt Capital, Salomon Brothers, Chemical-Chase, CIT and Goldman Sachs. They have extensive product experience in equity and debt capital raising, project finance, M&A, tax leasing and general corporate finance. Their industry expertise is heavily concentrated on electric power and its diversity of market opportunities that taps their combined experience including: i) traditional power generation, coal, gas, nuclear power, and transmission; ii) renewable generation in geothermal, wind, solar, biomass and waste to energy; and iii) new commercially proven technologies for bio fuels, green power, power storage, distributed generation, energy services and demand side management.
